What is the difference between dry oilless air compressor and water-lubricated air compressor?

The water-lubricated air compressor is lubricated and cooled with pure water, and the interior of the body is made of special material medical-grade stainless steel, which will never corrode.

Dry oilless air compressors are still cooled by lubricating oil, and the body will smell oily.

Pure water in the water-lubricated air compressor system always circulates in the system. The system will automatically change the water at a set time to ensure the water quality. The working temperature of the body will not exceed 50 degrees, so the water in the body will not be affected and scale problems. The working temperature of dry oil-free oil is very high, exceeding 200 degrees, which directly affects the life of cooling oil and bearings. Single-screw water-lubricated air compressor directly injects purified water into the machine body. Due to the high specific heat value of water, the compression chamber is almost in an ideal state of isothermal compression, which is the compression process with the lowest energy consumption. The cooling oil of dry oil-free machine is about 100 degrees, the temperature of compression chamber exceeds 200 degrees, and the temperature difference is relatively large, so the energy consumption is relatively high.

Single screw water-lubricated oil-free, body and motor directly connected, speed less than 3000 rpm, no speed increase gear, long bearing life, low maintenance cost. There should be acceleration and deceleration gears between the dry oilless machine body and the motor. Since the speed is above 18000 revolutions, a speed-increasing gear is required to accelerate, the bearing life is short, and the maintenance cost is high.
