Maintenance guide for oil-water free lubricated air compressors

Oil-water lubricated air compressors have many advantages such as energy conservation, environmental protection, and long life, and have been widely used in various fields such as automobiles, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. During the daily use of oil-water-lubricated air compressors, daily maintenance needs to be done to ensure normal operation of the air compressor and extend its service life.

1. Daily cleaning and maintenance

Air compressors should undergo basic daily cleaning and maintenance every day, including dust removal, floating dust, etc. If the environment is cleaned, the wear and tear of the machine can be greatly reduced. For filter elements, supercharger and other parts, patient and meticulous cleaning are also needed to keep them clean and tidy.

2. Replace the filter element regularly

The filter element is an important part of the air compressor. It can effectively filter out all kinds of impurities and avoid problems such as jams caused by the entry of impurities. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the air compressor filter element every 3000 hours or so.

3. Add water lubricants regularly

Oil-water lubricated air compressors require regular addition of water lubricants to provide adequate lubrication protection for the machine. When adding water lubricants, you need to pay attention to the dosage to avoid adding too much or too little.

4. Regularly check the pneumatic system

Frequent inspection of the pneumatic system is a necessary measure to ensure better performance of the air compressor. Regularly check the operation of pneumatic system subsets and valves to identify and resolve potential problems. In addition, compressor components, output pipes, etc. inside the machine also need to be inspected regularly.

5. Regularly replace water lubricants

Although oil-free lubricated air compressors do not use traditional oil lubricants, the correspondingly used water lubricants still need to be replaced regularly. It is generally recommended to replace purified water every 3000 hours or so.

6. Timely ask professional personnel for maintenance and repair

Under normal maintenance conditions of the air compressor, failure will generally not be encountered. However, if the air compressor fails, do not disassemble it privately, and should promptly ask professional maintenance personnel to handle it.

Why do air compressors need graded compression?

When the working pressure of the gas is required to be high, single-stage compression is not only uneconomical and sometimes impossible, but multi-stage compression must be used. Multi-stage compression starts with the inhalation of gas and increases the pressure several times to achieve the required working pressure. We will explain in detail why air compressors require hierarchical compression.

Introduction to the structure of high-pressure oilless air compressor

High-pressure oil-free air compressor, also known as oil-free air compressor, is a special compressor equipment. No lubricant is added during its working process, so the discharged gas does not contain oil. This kind of air compressor is widely used in medical, food, electronics, optics and other industries, because these industries have extremely high requirements for the purity of gases.
